The Club of Rome’s Dire Warning
The club of Rome has issued a dire warning to the world regarding the next apocalyptic challenge humanity must face. Gone are the days of worrying about gas guzzlers polluting the sky, or mega-corporations dumping toxic sludge on top of poor helpless, defenseless flora and fauna. No, no, that is deemed too old school for the non-profit organization where the richest and most powerful go to dream up new ways of terrifying stick figure soy boys; the organization of intellectuals has said that human freedom is the biggest threat to civilization and must be stamped out immediately.
The Club’s Proposed Plan
The club of Rome has reportedly drawn up a fifty-year plan where they will slowly but surely attempt to lessen human freedoms until most of us are left to be mere cattle; cattle to be used to make the rich richer, but also somehow keep human civilization safe. As we see in the movies, America will be the first and primary target while the rest of the world sits back and watches with popcorn in their hands. The scheme for the United States is quite simple, yet some would say there is a sly ingenuity in its simplicity. All the club will do is simply tell the Republicans “The Democrats want you to have the freedom to get any gun you want”, and on the other side of the coin tell the Democrats “The republicans would really love it if you could squeeze in a few more genders in the public zeitgeist”. Although this may not seem enough, we may be quick to forget it is the Americans we are talking about. Due to the immense hatred both sides have towards each other, they will drop everything they are doing to fight one another; mostly on Twitter, but there may be a few brave souls who might actually muster the courage to physically fight one another.
The Expected Results
It is hoped by the club of Rome that due to the intense inferno that burns in the hearts of Americans for the “other side”, they will readily give up the freedoms their forefathers had fought and enslaved so hard to get. The republicans may spit on their guns and chuck them straight into the bin. The Democrats will attempt to put aborted fetuses back into their original resting place as a way to spite the other side. It is expected that within twenty years there will have been such a back and forth between both sides that they may even be fighting over who loses the right to walk first. The elites however may not allow that right to be taken away, as their newfound slave labor force has to walk in order to work. That much is a given. While the rest of the world watches this charade, they all wonder how the people can be so easily manipulated into taking their own rights away from themselves… and by further contemplation, they wonder “will we ever make the same mistakes?”
